Richard F. Beacham

After a valiant struggle with a long illness, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many, Richard Farrell Beacham, passed away on Monday, March 22, 1999.

"Farrell" as he was referred to by those who knew and loved him, was born May 9, 1942 in Tooele, Utah, to Richard Franklin and Elaine J. Beacham. He grew up in Grantsville, Utah.

Farrell was a free and strong spirit with a big heart. He always had a bright sparkle in his eyes and an infectious smile that simply made you smile back. He loved to joke and laugh and was easy to talk with.

Farrell is survived by his brother, Ernest and Sharon Beacham of Grantsville, Utah; and his sister, Pat and David Peabody of Albuquerque, N.M. He is also survived by his four children: Shelley and David Wormley of Orem, Utah; Todd and Jessica Beacham of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jeffrey and Shellene Beacham of Evening Shade, Mo.; and Heather and Jared Spencer of Hurricane, Utah. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews, all of whom he idolized and held very close to his heart.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 E. Cherry, Grantsville. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main St., Tooele, and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
