GRANTSVILLE -- Mrs. Emma Jane Clark Jefferies, 74, wife of William O. Jefferies. died here Saturday at 12:30 p. m. She was born at Grantsville on September 18. 1863. a daughter of John W. and Anne Micklewright Clark. For many years Mrs. Jefferies was L. D. S. organist and Relief society teacher. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alta Williams and Mrs. Vera Lawrence; four sons, William C., Frank C.. James B. and Fred B. Jefferies; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Grantsville.

GRANTSVILLE-- Services for Mrs. Emma Jane Clark Jefferies, 75, wife of William O. Jefferies, who died Saturday of a heart attack, will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Grantsville First Ward. Friends may call at the home here Wednesday morning prior to the services. Interment will be local. Mrs. Jefferies was born Sept. 18, 1863, in Grantsville, daughter of John W. and Ann Micklewright Clark. For many years she was organist and Relief Society teacher in the Grantsville Ward, and later in the Grantsville First Ward. Surviving are the husband and the following sons and daughters: William Clark Jefferies, Grantsville; Frank C. Jefferies, Berkeley, Calif.; James B. Jefferies, Grantsville; Fred D. Jefferies, Tooele; Mrs. Alta Williams, Grantsville; Mrs. Vera Lawrence, Tooele; also 25 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Ann Eliason, Grantsville.
